Revenge – Season 1, Episode 15: “Chaos.”
Not fake Amanda who took Emily’s secret box. It was psychopath Tyler! We see Daniel fall face down on the beach. Did he die?
Tyler returned. He kidnapped fake Amanda and chained her to fence (nice guy, that one). Stole the secret box. Called Emily for ransom. Was it for the money? No. He wanted payback because Emily planted his wallet on the bodyguard that fake Amanda killed.
Tyler met Emily at a parking lot. While he called her she came up behind him (her Sensei be proud) and pointed a gun to his head. She tied Tyler to a fence and asked him where the secret box was. He gave her keys to the trunk. It was there all right. She had asked him to call fake Amanda.
He said he had her on the line. Emily stepped away from the trunk. (DANG if Emily didn’t leave her gun inside the trunk.) Fake Amanda manipulated by psychopath Tyler took the gun from trunk pointed it at Emily. Tyler and fake Amanda took off with $5 million wire transfer to a Canadian bank account and with the secret box still in the trunk.
Back at the hideout shack, fake Amanda had a change of heart. She took the paper wire transfer. She also took photo of a young Jack. About to walk out when Tyler told her to put on the red dress or take a bullet. Fake Amanda took the dress, turned around waited for a moment then with knife, she slashed Tyler on his cheek.
She ran.
He fired at her.
He missed.
Back at Emily’s place Jack dropped by. He was leaving for Haiti. Emily hugged him (aw). Nolan hugged him (double aw, that was Nolan’s only friend). Sammy the dog would stay with Emily for the two months.
Main event the engagement ball. This is where it all happened in the pilot. The gunshot. The body on the beach. Silhouette over the dead body. A cell phone ring. Declan and Charlotte heard a phone ring. Saw the body. Scream.
Here’s how it went down:
• Tyler held Daniel at gunpoint on the beach and took his cell phone
• Emily’s Sensei returned the secret box to her which she buried in sand
• A black gloved hand fire two rounds at a body face down on beach
• Fake Amanda went to Emily’s rescue
• Jack followed fake Amanda to beach, heard gunshots
• Fake Amanda hovered over dead body — ‘Didn’t do it’
• Fake Amanda got into Jack’s Jeep, no keys
• Fake Amanda got a lift from Emily’s Sensei
• Jack moved dead body still face down on sand
• Declan and Charlotte went to swim in ocean
• Phone rings—Emily at ball calling Daniel’s cell phone
• Jack runs off
• Charlotte screams
So did Daniel die? That’s what the pilot and this episode lead the viewers to believe. It was all a ruse.
TYLER DIED!
(Oh I did not see that coming!) Daniel walked into view with blood on his shirt. Victoria ran into his arms, whispered into his ear,
‘Don’t say a word.’
The killer wore a dark suit. Only one person wore a dark suit was Emily Sensei Satoshi. He found the secret box. He was at the engagement event. He was there to give fake Amanda a ride, but at that time he was dressed in white tuxedo jacket.
Who killed Tyler? And why?
