About Lavon’s big secret, how Didi found that photo of Lemon at his house… I’ll get to that. First, let’s quickly pass through the strange alien storyline. I know, aliens in Bluebell, who would have thunk?
A high school teacher blurted aloud that aliens spoke to him (insert theme song to Twilight series). He would have spasms during these communications with aliens. He went to see several doctors in Mobile, Alabama. No medical explanation for spasms.
Zoe an unbeliever (just like Scully from X Files) examined the teacher George’s request. This teacher could lose his job (cu-coo).
Zoe saw the teacher donned a huge tattoo on his arm. He said it got it done in Mexico. Don’t-drink-the-water Mexico. He had lead poisoning. When he drank juice, which had trace amounts of lead, it exacerbated the toxins in his body. Case closed. Now about Lavon’s secret, I’ll get to that. Let’s discuss Lemon’s night out with Wade.
Don’t choke, I’ll explain.
George thought Lemon needed a day off to relax and do nothing. How does a windup Barbie doll relax? Lemon was accustomed to her daily routine of bossing people and bossing people.
Wade needed help. Or should I say his slutty girlfriend Joelle needed help. She was about to skip town because her ex-boyfriend was going to have her arrested for burning his lawn (she lied, she burnt his clothes).
Wade needed to convince the ex-boyfriend that Joelle was not in town. Wade asked Lemon to dress up as a slutty girlfriend.
DANG!
Lemon looked trashy and naughty in her short jean miniskirt and bright red cowboy boots. Oh, she was a hoot! Lemon let it rip. She got a little drunk. Proper Miss Lemon even line-danced. Lemon was Roxy. She called Wade ‘sugar lips.’
Did they convince the ex-boyfriend? Not exactly, Lemon got out of control and Wade called George for help. Once George arrived, Joelle’s ex-boyfriend saw right through the charade. Wade, George and Lemon left in a hurry.
Wade broke up with Joelle. Even Lemon thought he could do better than the blonde white trash. (Lemon’s nice when she’s drunk.) How did the slutty girlfriend respond? She held a lighter to Wade’s guitar.
What’s with Joelle and fire?
Now to Lavon’s secret. He confessed to Zoe that he was once in love with Lemon. It was a six-week love affair. He thought that Lemon would leave George for him. He was mistaken. Broken hearted. Picking up the pieces and moving on, or trying to with Didi.
He asked Zoe not to tell George. When Zoe saw how happy George and Lemon were together. How the secret would ruin many lives. She told Didi the photo of Lemon belonged to her. When Zoe first arrived at Bluebell, she thought Lemon was the perfect girl. Didi a bit naïve bought the story.
Zoe now holds the burden of Lavon’s secret. Is it fair? You decide. What did you think about Lemon cutting loose as Roxy?
