House – Season 8, Episode 10: “Runaways.
A new episode of House returns with house serving his clinic hours when he unveils a young scheming girl’s lying ways.
In order to get some medication she pays an old dude in a fake suit to pose as her father. She pays in beer.
House soon starts to show this character sympathy when he realizes not only is she homeless, but in fact, she is independently taking better care of herself than a normal teenager would. She surprisingly is even going to school.
Dr. Adams however annoyingly decides that she should report it to Social Services. Lord knows that government run facilities for runaway children usually doesn’t cause them to behave any differently. Kids jump from one foster home to another foster home.
House threatens Dr. Adams her job if she does report it.
Dr. Taub tries to develop a relationship with his two daughters Sophie and Sophia. The cheater couldn’t come up with better names?
He fails miserably the first time only succumbing to his magazines a few seconds of “goo”ing and “gah”ing later.
In this episode we see the morally upright Foreman, the Dean of Medicine having an AFFAIR?!
By the way should I mention the girl he was having an affair with used to be on America’s Next Top Model as a finalist? You go girl!
Either way, simply scandalous Foreman!
Soon matters begin to unveil when Runaway’s biological druggie mother comes into the picture and wants her daughter’s love back.
Poor mother doesn’t know that her daughter is independent now and will probably do anything to runaway from a druggie dependent mother.
House is so snarky, I always love his comments here and there.
Definitely not worth missing if you love Dr. House like I do!
