LL Cool J slated to host the 54th annual Grammy Awards which will air Sunday, February 12th at 8/7c on CBS. It has been seven years since the Grammy Awards has had an official host.

LL Cool J stated, “I’m thrilled to be part of Music’s Biggest Night… I will always have fond memories of my first Grammy Awards and to now be hosting the Grammy show, in the company of so many other incredible artists, is a dream come true.”

Most recent was host was Queen Latifah back in 2005. Other celebrities that hosted the Grammy’s were Jon Steward, Billy Crystal, Ellen DeGeneres and Rosie O’Donnell.

Early announced performers include Jason Aldean, Kelly Clarkson, Foo Fighters, Bruno Mars, Nicki Minaj, and Taylor Swift. Aldean and Minaj will perform on the Grammy broadcast for the first time, while Clarkson, Foo Fighters, Mars, and Swift return to the stage.

The 54th Annual Grammy Awards will take place live at Staples Center in Los Angeles. It will broadcast in HD and 5.1 surround sound. Grammys supported on radio worldwide via Westwood One/Dial Global. Online coverage at http://www.grammy.com and CBS.com and on YouTube.
