2 Broke Girls – Season 1, Episode 14: “And the Upstairs Neighbor.”
Do you remember the movie Legally Blonde? Do you remember the fun bodacious beautician Paulette? Her real name is Jennifer Coolidge. She guest starred as Sophie Kuchenski, the new upstairs neighbor of Max and Caroline.
Was she funny?
No. The whole episode as Sophie would be put it, “Horrible, Horrible.” That was Sophie’s favorite catch phrase. She said it over and over again and over and over…
Sophie liked to play music after 10pm. Max not having it. She wrote a threatening note that they would fire a bullet through the ceiling if the clod-hopping, music bopping noise didn’t stop. Real tough Max. Slipped a note under the door, knocked and run. I expect that from Caroline, not you.
Sophie stomped down the stairs. Knocked on Max’s door and demanded to know who wrote that, ‘Horrible, horrible note.’ Boredom crept in. My eyes tired. I tolerated the rest of show because I like Max and Caroline.

That’s the long and short of it. Sophie said to live your dream now. That’s why she had a porch swing installed inside her apartment. She wanted a swing for her future home in Poland. Why wait when she could have a porch swing now.
I thought that made sense. We do often wait for the whole package of our dreams to come true when. If however we took our dreams a sliver at a time we’d get there faster.
Other than that, all I can say about the show – horrible, horrible. I miss Chestnut. The total for their cupcake shop $665.
