Jessie – Season 1, Episode 9: “Star Wars.”
Father had a big announcement to make to the kids. Movie star Jordan Taylor would spend the weekend with the family. But everyone must keep this information hush-hush.
Yeah, right. Four young adolescents and a star stuck nanny will keep the secret. Good luck with that, dad.
Celebrity arrived incognito. Beard, longhaired wig and coveralls, he looked like a cave man. Jessie and Emma immediately engage in an all out “He’s mine!” war. Emma’s only 14-years old. That celebrity young gun Jordan’s 19-years old. You try to tell her that.
Jessie was able to wrangle a date out of Jordan, well, she didn’t have to make much effort. He was into her. She said, “yes” but Emma wasn’t having it! Emma locked Jessie inside Jessie’s closet.
Meanwhile Luke and Zuri invaded Jordan’s suitcase. (Jordan, put a heavy duty lock on your baggage around small children.) They found his cell phone. Proceeded to call everyone on the list with a prank (hey, they’re just kids).
First call to A-Rod (pro baseball player). Luke said, “Hi, this is Ima. I’m afraid you can’t hit worth beans!” Now that’s cute, but don’t think A-Rod would like that. Zuri left a voice mail on Prince William’s phone that he was a “doody-head.” Kids were funny!
Jessie still locked in the closet counted to 100. She then huffed, she puffed, and she kicked her closet door down. Way to go au pair!
Emma was a step ahead. She tied Jessie’s doorknob to another doorknob. No way out Jessie was going to go out that door. Out the window then. Don’t worry, there’s a window washer guy out there.
And a rat. A real live rat. Jessie all a fluttered bounced around on the plank. Finally, Jessie made her way back inside.
Jordan practiced his movie lines on Emma (big mistake). She went nuts in love. He had to squirm his foot out of her death-grip. It was when Jordan ran off that Emma realized she was too young to be Jordan’s soul mate.
When Jessie saw Emma bummed she first comforted her. Then Jessie exploded, “Are you crazy!” Of course, Emma clueless to Jessie’s window washer’s adventure. They both called a truce.
Building bubbled over by paparazzi and crazed fans. It appeared that every single family member, including the father spilled the beans they were hosting a celebrity.
Forgivness. Group hug. Jordan so touched by the warmth of the family he decided to stay the whole weekend. Aww!
