Storage Wars – Season 2, Episode 44: “Brandi’s First Time.”
Brandi, girl, you need to learn when to walk away.
Jarrod oversaw construction. They doubled the size of their store. Brandi didn’t trust Jarrod to go to the auction alone. Jarrod didn’t trust Brandi with the construction. Brandi sent to bid alone at the auction held in the city of Santa Ana.
Barry had a meet with his accountant night before auction. “Collector to become a selector.” Barry, Barry, Barry, quit bidding on lockers you cannot profit – duh!
First unit stuffed with Coca-Cola vending machines, Coca-Cola vintage bottles, and electric scooters. Some good stuff in there. Bid war between Darrel and Brandi at the $900 mark.
She nodded.
He raised his hand.
By $3,350 Brandi said, “Screw it. He can have it.” Darrell’s one happy camper. He believed there was a huge profit in that unit. He got vintage Coca-Cola stuff appraised. One small bottle worth $150! Are you freakin’ kidding me? Who buys an empty bottle for that much? (A collector, duh, I know, but still.)
Second unit same owner as the first unit, but the goods of Coca-Cola memorabilia was in first unit. Second unit had a mattress, boxes and uh, stuff. Darrell fooled around with Dave and upped the bid. They battled until Dave won at $2,300. However, what did he win exactly?
Two Pachinko machines, which he took to Little Tokyo in L.A, had them appraised. One was broken the other worth about $50. You got screwed, Dave Hester! He still managed to turn a profit with the rest of the junk in locker.
Last unit Brandi bent not to go home empty-handed. Piss poor philosophy, girlfriend. Better to go empty-handed than to buy junk you dump.
Locker stacked with boxes, clothes and a small black safe box, which caught Brandi’s eye. Last time she and Jarrod bought a unit with a safe, they made out like bandits.
This time, not so much.
Bids went high quick. Final bid war between Barry and Brandi. Now remember, Barry’s accountant told him to be careful with the moolah. Barry thought to have a little fun with Brandi and upped the bid. She was not amused. Brandi won locker for $2,600. Ouch!
What did she find in safe? A whole lot of nothing. Back at the store, she went through every box. Jarrod told her to let it go. She bought a bad locker. Brandi’s first time alone at a bid war, in a word – awkward.
Score profit card:
- Darrell – $2,140
- Barry – $0
- Dave – $750
- Brandi – loss of $2,300 (ow, ow, ow)

Does anybody know what brand sunglasses Brandi is wearing?
Kristina – I looked on the internet on blogs about Brandi, but these particular glasses I could not find out what brand they are. She wears several different pairs on the show. Sorry, couldn’t find that out for you.
